Chloe Gruber's Film and Writing Portfolio

I grew up in the Chicago area and lived there until my family moved to Salt Lake City when I was 10. I hopped to several schools but ultimately settled at The McGillis School in Sugarhouse. It was there that I fell in love with theater and storytelling, and I decided that I wanted to be a famous actor. I took multiple acting courses and acted in numerous school plays. Yet as I got older, my love of acting began to fade. My flourishing creativity and desire to tell stories ultimately birthed a passion for creative writing and, most notably, screenwriting. Ever since I was young, I've loved movies and television. I always thought it would be so fun to be a part of creating films, and I had so many ideas bursting out of my head that I just had to get down. Once I began college at the University of Utah (majoring in Film Studies), I put my whole heart into my writing.
